UFO Parasail

UFO Parasail has operated parasailing activities off the coast of Maui and the Big Island since 1985. On the Big Island these tours are operational all year long but on Maui they discontinue service during the whale season as much of the area surrounding Maui is considered a National Marine Preserve and is a protected area for the migrating Humpback Whales. These exciting tours depart right from Kaanapali Beach on Maui and from the pier in Kailua Kona. Flights are either given on an 800' or a 1200' length line and last between 8 to 10 minutes or 10 to 12 minutes accordingly. Observers are permitted on the boats for a reduced fee and photography is available to record your exciting UFO Parasail adventure.

I parasail at least once a year in Maui. I can't help it. My son makes me go up with him and he loves it. The truth is, I love it too. Maybe it's the exhilaration of take-off, or the view from so high, or just the sense of soaring through the air and the age-old fantasy of flight.

Watersports are the perfect Hawaii activity for anyone young or old! For excitement, choose the "touch and go." On the way down, instead of just reeling you onto the boat they let you linger awhile above the ocean surface - just before they dunk you.
