Redline Rafting

Redline Rafting provides one of the most adventure packed boating tours on the island. Departing from the Kihei Boat Ramp this powerful and comfortable 35' ocean raft with seating for 24 people will begin your day by speeding you off to the remote Kanaio Coastline and La Perouse Bay area which was the site of the last major lava flow on Maui. The solid rock coastline found here generally provides some of the most crystal clear conditions for snorkeling on any of the coastlines. Dolphins are often a major feature on Redline Rafting tours as they race the boats in a good natured frolic. Next you will visit the marine sanctuary of Molokini as many boats do but in most cases in addition to snorkeling its 'bowl' you will also be snorkeling its backside 'wall' which is something other snorkel boats generally won't attempt. On the way back to the boat ramp you will stop off to see the Hawaiian Green Sea Turtles along the coastline. This five-hour day on the ocean will be one of the highlights of your vacation. The boat itself has a marine bathroom on board, dry storage, shade and comfortable seating. In addition, spectacular whale watches are available during the winter months.

Molokini Island Crater is actually the tip of an extinct volcano, barely peeking above the ocean surface between Maui and Kahoolawe. Visibility is often 150 feet, tropical fish are everywhere, and its sheer cliffs and rugged beauty are often the focus of professional photographers.
