The beautiful Hanalei mountains are the backdrop for the stunning setting that is the Princeville Ranch. Horseback riding, zip-lining, kayaking and hiking are all options here in this truly special heaven on earth. The ranch itself dates back to the early eighteen-hundreds and it is the oldest working cattle ranch in all of the Hawaiian islands. The horseback riding trails and landscapes found here are among the most beautiful to be found anywhere as the ranchland extends from the foothills of the Hanalei range all the way to the ocean. You have a choice of rides you can take beginning with the ocean-side bluffs ride with its views of the largest coral reef in Hawaii and the Kilauea Lighthouse. Other horseback riding adventures take you back up into the mountain side of the ranch following streams to waterfalls and beautiful scenery that was made famous by the motion picture Bali Hai........This natural beauty is revealed even further with the zip-line found at Princeville Ranch as this course will simply take your breath away with its picture-postcard setting, its jungle valleys complete with streams and waterfalls and its panoramic vistas of blue Pacific Ocean. In the midst of all this natural beauty you will experience adventure galore as 9 separate zip-lines will send you down a time-warp as you zip over what must be the closest thing on earth to the Garden of Eden. All the zip-lines on this course have their special appeal but none more so than the last which is called the "King Kong". This is a double zip that allows you to race your friends at sizzling speeds to the end of the course. Swimming holes with waterfalls will also be a part of your experience here and a hearty lunch is available on the longer tours. In addition, while you are at the Princeville Ranch you will have options to do some stream kayaking and some hiking through this beautiful region.
This unique adventure begins with 30 minutes on horseback, soaking up panoramic views of mountains, valleys and the ocean. After tying up the horses, venture into a lush tropical rain forest, hiking along a trail with steps and rope handholds.
