Pride Charters

The Pride of Maui is a large and stable power boat the gives daily trips to Molokini, offers sunset cruises and in season provides fabulous whale watches. This 65' Maxi-Catamaran with twin turbo diesel engines will provide you with one of the fastest and most stable rides whether you are traveling out to the crater of Molokini, looking for whales or enjoying a cruise at sunset. The boat is large with two decks so you can spread out. The top deck is ideal for sunning and has great views of the horizon and the bottom deck is shaded and provides you with protection from the sun. For people who feel more comfortable just being on a larger vessel, this is a great choice. The Pride will go to Molokini for a snorkel and will also visit a second location along the coastline near Makena to see the turtles. A BBQ lunch will be prepared on board and beer, wine and mai tai's will be offered as well. In addition to just doing a snorkel you will have the option of doing a Scuba Dive or a Snuba Dive as well and this is a wonderful choice for a boat if you have some in your party who would like to enjoy a scuba dive while others would simply like to snorkel.

Molokini Island Crater is actually the tip of an extinct volcano, barely peeking above the ocean surface between Maui and Kahoolawe. Visibility is often 150 feet, tropical fish are everywhere, and its sheer cliffs and rugged beauty are often the focus of professional photographers.

On a windy day in mid-July, my son Jake and I set out on an afternoon sail that turned out to be one of the most exciting events of our whole summer. On board the catamaran was a handful of other folks who, like us, were in the mood for adventure.

There are many wonderful scuba diving spots on Maui. Probably the best known is Molokini crater. Many people snorkel there but scuba divers have a much wider range.

There's a reason people love snorkeling on Maui. The ocean waters surrounding Maui and its neighbor islands of Lanai and Molokini are comfortably warm, have great visibility (often in excess of 100 feet), and are teeming with beautiful coral formations and colorful tropical fish.
