Captain Zodiac

Captain Zodiac is Hawaii's oldest running rafting tour company dating back to 1974. In previous years it ran tours out of other islands but today operates exclusively out of the Kona Coast of the Big Island. Captain Zodiac's years of experience have allowed it to perfect its brand of 'adventure rafting' to the top level. It runs daily tours along a twelve mile stretch of spectacular Kona coastline stopping at caves and coves along the way to its destination for snorkeling at the world famous Kealakekua Bay. Personalized and congenial, you'll be able to directly ask questions of your captain regarding the rich sea life you will find along the trip. Dolphins will often become a part of your tour as they love to race the speeding boats while surfing the wake at the bow. Whale watching in season is also a specialty and these unobtrusive boats are very 'whale friendly' and are often approached by these giant mammals and offer views at close distance.

Watersports are the perfect Hawaii activity for anyone young or old! For excitement, choose the "touch and go." On the way down, instead of just reeling you onto the boat they let you linger awhile above the ocean surface - just before they dunk you.
