Could someone in a wheelchair get on this boat? Of course, he would not be snorkling

Jake Barefoot
In response to your question: yes the Body Glove can accomodate people in wheelchairs. The loading ramp is wide enough and level enough where rolling on with a chair will not be an issue. Unfortunately, the upper level of the boat cannot be accessed because of the steep stairways that are used to get from the first to the second deck. The first deck has restrooms, the galley, the bar as well as a large shaded area. If you have anymore questions, please let us know.

Would the staff assist lowering & recovering a person from the water that has difficulty walking & climbing stairs?Would the staff assist lowering & recovering a person from the water that has difficulty walking & climbing stairs?

This boat is ADA accessible with a ramp off the dock.
The crew did need to assist my wife in her wheelchair, getting her on and off, but they were great and very attentive the entire trip.
I would absolutely recommend this for a wheelchair bound person, providing you do not plan on snorkeling since there is no lift to get you in and out of the water.

This was a great trip. The crew was very friendly and helpful. They even had an assortment of perscription masks. We booked the morning snorkel and dolphin watch. I would do this excursion again. We had so much fun!!

I would like to go on this trip. I am a full time wheelchair user and a
paraplegic. I could use the slide to get in but how would I get back on the

The wife and I greatly enjoyed this trip. The crew was very friendly and
accommodating. Its a fun boat to be on, the food and drinks were good.
The snorkeling spot was nice and the captain was very informative about
dolphins and other aquatic life that we saw along the way. I highly
recommend this trip and really appreciate the ease of booking through Tom
Barefoot's Tours.

From start to finish, this excursion was easy to book, which never happens when
there's a disabled person in the mix, and the Staff at Tom's were amazing. I had
a call to make sure we'd booked the right thing for the right day etc. So right
from the beginning you felt looked after.

On the excursion itself, the crew of the boat were brilliant, we had a table
reserved for us so we were comfortable, they helped my husband onto the boat and
were constantly making sure he was ok and even getting us soft drinks from the
bar.

Getting into the water was a bit of a challenge for Chris, but the crew were
there every step of the way to help.

We had the best time, made possible by Tom's and the crew of the boat. We'd
definitely do it again.
Only slight negative was that there was no milk alternative for us vegans for
the coffee. Not a huge deal, we just should've brought soya milk with us!!
