Zip-lining on the island of Kauai has become "over the top" popular in recent years and one of the most unusual of the zip-line courses is called "Just Live" and can be found in a pine forest off the roads between the town of Koloa and Lihue. This is the only course on the island that specializes in zipping through the trees. These beautiful Cook Pines stand straight and tall in a forest on the outskirts of a beautiful meadow. Zip-lining is done between platforms mounted to the trees at a height of about 80' above the ground. Don't worry about falling though as you are always strapped in with a separate safety harness. Dealing with the heights is a part of the modus operandi of the course designers and operators as many corporate and school groups also come to Just live to participate in their "ropes course" which has you climbing vertical walls and swinging on giant swings high above the forest floor. No worse for wear you will return back to earth safe and sound and with a bit more confidence in your own ability as a result of the experience.
