Most of the sunset sails that happen on the island of Oahu take place on the Waikiki shoreline or in Ko'Olina. The big exception to that is the sunset sail offered by the folks at North Shore Catamaran. Their beautiful 40' long sailing catamaran 'Ho'o Nanea' departs from the North Shore harbor of Haleiwa. This is the area the locals on the island call 'country' and it is a far different place then the city lights of Waikiki and Honolulu. This is a spot that is quaint and picturesque with white sand beaches and a 'laid back' lifestyle. What can be said about the town can also be said about the boat. The maximum number of people that can be taken out on this sunset sail would be 19 so you are assured an intimate, relaxed and 'laid back' sail in the 'country'.
