The Polynesian Village Luau had a much more laid back feel then most of the other Luaus I've attended. It had the feeling of a family gathering. The night that we went there was a very small group of attendees and by the end of the night almost everyone in the crowded seemed to have participated in some way. The host kept everyone laughing between acts. The dancers were very lively with colorful costumes and very energetic dance moves. Perhaps what helped to set this luau apart was that there was no alcohol here. It made for a more family atmosphere then a "party" atmosphere, which was a nice change that seemed to be enjoyed by all that were in attendance.
