Extreme river adventure awaits you! Explore the beautiful scenery of the Big Island's Umauma River for a swim, float, rappel and hike through the valley. Enjoy the natural beauty and unique features the Umauma River has to offer. Make memories that will last a lifetime as you experience the coolest adventure in Hawaii. Start your rappel experience by rappelling 250 feet into the Umauma valley. The last 20 feet is a cave, so you will free rappel right into the Umauma River. But don't worry, you will be fully equipped with a wetsuit, tobbies and all the necessary top of the line rappelling safety gear. Once you enter the river, you will relax as you float down the Umauma river to a 100 year old flume dam. This dam was made in 1910 and is still perfectly intact today. It's level surface makes for an infinity pool like experience in the river! Next, you will boulder down a short distance to a natural stone slide formation where you will slide right into a large pool. On this tour, you will rappel down two waterfalls and even end with a jump (optional) at our private pond. Come to the Big Island and play book this unique Rappel and River Experience today.

Inclusions: Experienced guide, lunch, wetsuit, Tubbies water shoes, all necessary safety and rappel equipment, 250 feet rappel into the Umauma valley, free rappel the last 20 feet over a cave right into the Umauma River, rappel down two waterfalls and an optional jump at the private pond.
Restrictions: Due to the changeable nature of the river, we occasionally need to cancel the swim portion of this tour for safety reasons, in which case a partial refund is available. Age Restrictions: Minimum age to participate is 4 years old. Size and Weight Restrictions: Guests must weigh between 35lbs. and 275lbs. Exceeding the weight range could cause vendor to disallow participant but charge them. Inform agent if your close to the maximum. Weigh-ins are mandatory and refunds are not given if you do not fall into this weight range. ADA Restrictions: Only collapsible wheelchairs are accomodated. Inform vendor when booking. Physical Health Restrictions: SCUBA diving the day before the ride is not allowed. Guests with reactions to high altitudes should not participate. Guests who experience motion sickness easily should consider this tour a need for taking medication the night prior or hours prior to tour. A local favorite for this is ginger (sold in tiny pieces with sugar coating). Guest must be in generally good health and not have unhealed injuries. No medical conditions including heart, back or neck problems, recent surgeries, asthma or allergies affecting breathing or pregnant women. Guest must not have undergone any surgical procedures in the last twelve (12) months that would prohibit them from being compliant with any requirement or guidelines listed. Cancellation Policy: This tour has a 72 hour cancellation policy for large groups and 48 hour for regular reservations. This means that once you're within 48 hours of the start time, the tour is non refundable. If you choose to cancel before this time, the standard 3% cancellation fee will apply. If the vendor needs to cancel your tour because of weather, a mechanical issue or any other reason you will receive a 100% refund of the price you paid.
