Excellent experience.

Caroline Sears
The best of both worlds. Nice van back from Hana after taking the helicopter out there. Highly recommend!

Hi. I just want to ask couple questions since you've done this tour. Did you
guys or any in the tour group swam by the waterfalls? Supposedly you are allowed
to swim. Did you take the earlier 7:15 am tour? Deciding whether we should do
7:15 or 11:45. (7:15 seems very early.) Also, how many people were in the van?
Thank you!

Janet Davis
The van trip was very informative but we didn't get to stop where we reallywanted. The lunch was simple, just wraps and pasta salad. No snackas stated on the web. But the helicospter ride was out-of-this-world!The pilot, Mike, took us over the south side of the island where we sawwild goats and steep canyons, waterfalls, and the ruins of the dwellings of theAncients. The best was circling over a pair of humpback whales who wereclose to the surface of the ocean. A surreal experience!

Debora Norz
Best road to hana van ride there. Driver very knowledgeable about plantsand Hawaiian culture. Wraps subpar not much chicken but brownies andpineapple good. So nice to fly back a 30 min ride instead of more hoursand hours on the road.

This tour was the highlight of our Maui trip. We did the 11:45 am tour which Ithink is better than the earlier tour. We took the helicopter to Hana. Glendaour pilot was wonderful. My husband & I did this tour before, but this time withour 16 year old daughter. I have to say though that our previous helicopter ridewas better just because we flew over the Haleakala volcano(this time too cloudy& it didn't allow us to fly over the volcano). We saw waterfalls from afar. Inour previous one we flew in front of the waterfalls which was really cool. Wealso flew over a rainbow the last time, but no rainbow this time. Overall, wonderful helicopter tour. Getting nauseous is expected. Then, after landing atHana's heliport, we did the road tour in a big comfy van. We had a great tourguide-Michael. Boy he's so knowledgeable. Knows everything about the island. Ofcourse there were several stops. If not for this tour, we wouldn't have knownall these places like black sand beaches, where to stop for waterfalls etc. Wewere able to swim by the waterfalls which was the highlight of our road trip.Thank you Michael! You are awesome. You can purchase a DVD copy of yourhelicopter tour if you want. Make sure you tip your road tour guide.Tombarefoot.com has the best deal on this Hana helicopter/road trip combo. I didmy research. It's also great while checking out different tours fromtombarefoot, you can chat with a representative to ask any questions you mayhave. Lunch was not bad, but it's not exactly what's on the list or what wasdescribed. We stopped at a beach & our driver served us our lunch. 2 differentwraps, pasta salad, pineapple, juices, water & brownies. Overall, we were happy. If you are planning to swim best thing to do is wear your bathing suit underyour clothes. Swim trunks for the guys. Pack a light bag with your towel & extraclothes. You are allowed to bring a bag in the helicopter as long as it's lessthan 3 lbs. hope this info helps any future travelers! One more tip: wear watershoes!

Dissappointing.
We were not treated equally with other party.
The van trip was long and the guide was very long winded.
Made complaint to both Barefoot Tom and Temptation Tours and neither even
responded.
