Sacred and Cultural Sites - Maui Paradise Tours

Come and be guided back to old Hawaii! This tour not only gives you most of the best sites of the famous Hana Highway (waterfalls, bamboo forests, dramatic cliff views, etc.), it also includes a guided tour of the largest Polynesian Temple in the world. A "Heiau" that spans 341 feet (104 m) by 415 feet (126 m), with a high front wall rising 50 feet (15 m). Maui Paradise Tours is the only tour company authorized to give guided tours of this amazing site, along with the expansive botanical gardens surrounding it. Highlights: Fully guided tour of the ancient Polynesian Temple (largest in existence). Polynesian gardens including the world's largest collection of breadfruit, a traditional food crop which today is helping address global hunger and other plants that were brought to Hawaii long ago in canoes that ventured across the Pacific. Black sand beach, lava rock tide-pools suitable for exploration. Giant surf with expert surfers (in season). Bamboo forests with optional hiking. Ian McCormick
The temple and surrounding area are beautiful and serene as not many tourists
come here. We had a great day with our guide David who was very congenial and
knowledgable. You couldn't ask for a better guide. Very relaxing tour with
plenty of time to see the sights off the beaten track that someone from here can
show you. One of the best tours I've done in Hawaii.
