Hiking - Hanakapi'ai Beach - Kayak Kauai
This is a longer and more challenging hike along the Na Pali Coast to the Hanakapi'ai Falls, the most beautiful waterfall in the park. This trail, which is part of the famous Na Pali Coast Trail, begins at the end of Highway 560 at the Ke'e Lagoon. You will begin gaining elevation along a garden of coco palms, lianas, ferns, and exotic and native plants. About half an hour into your journey, you will come to the first of many lookouts and vistas of the Na Pali Coast, with waves breaking below. If the conditions are right, it is possible to look and see the green sea turtle, humpback whales or dolphins in the distance. Further along, you will descend to Hanakapi'ai Beach, where you can take a long break for lunch and swim in the stream.
