3 Hour Koloa Plantation Tour - Kauai ATV Tours
An adventure filled three hour tour throughout Kauai's South Shore. Visit pristine landscapes on 22,000 acres of land otherwise inaccessible to the public. You'll learn about Kauai's plant and animal life from knowledgeable guides, ride through a .5 mile cane haul tunnel and access major motion picture sights on any of the following modes of transportation: Mud Bug or Ohana Bug.
Operates: Daily departures at 9:30am and 1:30pm. Check in 30 minutes prior to departure.
Departure Point: 3477A Weliweli Road in Old Koloa Town.
Duration: 3 hours. 13 to 15 miles.
Equipment: Helmet, shorts/pants, shirts, helmets, goggles, and bandannas. Fully automatic all terrain vehicles for drivers 16 years and up (valid id required).
Capacity: 2, 3 and 4 passenger buggies.
Juice, water and locally made snacks.
Inclusions: Souvenir bandanna. Bamboo fishing (time permitting). For Kauai ATV we do offer wheelchair accessible tours but their escort must be able to help them in and out of the vehicle.
Exclusions: Must be 16 years old or older to drive (valid id required). 5 years old and up can ride as passengers. All seats must be occupied or paid for. Spanish and Portuguese translation available. Must request when making reservation.
Serves Alcohol: There is not any alcohol available during the activity.
Foreign Language Translation: Portuguese translation is available during this activity. Spanish translation is available during this activity.
Handicapped Accessible: Participants who use a walker can go on this tour. Participants who require a wheelchair can go on this tour.
Restrictions: Children whose age is less than five years old are not permitted on this activity. Participants with a total body weight of 300lbs or more are not permitted on this activity.
48 hour cancellation policy. There is a 48 hour cancellation policy for groups of 6 to 9 people. Groups of 10 or more are subject to a 50% deposit and a cancellation policy of 72 hours. Vendor reserves the right to refuse service to any guest for any reason that would be unsafe or detrimental to the guest, tour, employee or company. Participants may be 5+ years old to be passengers on vehicles. Drivers must be 16 and older; 16-18 year old drivers must provide proof of age with a picture ID and a birth date at check in. Minors must be accompanied by a parent or guardian upon check in. 320 lb weight limit on vehicles (per person). Persons who are pregnant, have major neck/back problems, have extreme allergies to dust or pollen, or have had recent surgeries (within 3 months) will not be allowed to participate. This activity is not accessible by walker. Closed toed shoes are required. No exceptions.
For Pride of America Cruise passengers this tour would be available on your cruise schedule for departure on either the 9:30am or 1:30pm tours.

This was a great ride thru the beautiful Koloa plantation on Kauai. Really enjoyed several parts of this ride including the old haul tunnel. We saw a real variety of terrain from drier areas to rainforest feeling areas. Great views. Great guides. We highly recommend this tour and are thinking of doing it again next time we are in Kauai.
The tour was great! Got to see some of the beautiful island and got VERY DIRTY! Loved our tour guide. He was very knowledgable about the island and about how to fix the ATVs (had a few technical difficulties on the trip).
Fun tour, and informative. our ATV broke down early in the tour buy the
quickly replaced it. There was mud in half the tour, in the rain forest. The
other half of the tour is in more dryer climate. It's a cool way to explore
parts of the island and ATVs are always fun. Just don't expect to go crazy
and do silly things in the vehicles. They are simply a means to get
