Sign up for a Private Surf Lesson on Kauai for one on one instruction and fun in Poipu. For an hour and a half have fun learning to surf! Guests will be provided all necessary gear and be given an ocean safety briefing with their instruction. With a one on one instruction from your guide surfers can really receive more time to learn how to get on the board, paddle in, turn and then stand and ride! The basic surfing tools are taught for each tour however the private allows for that exclusive service. Guests leave with a sense of knowing more about the ocean and how to have fun surfing it. Book your lesson today! For families with children sign up for a semi or private lesson to accommodate children receiving the needed additional assistance from the instructor.
For guests coming into airport or cruise docks and renting a car drive time is approximately 13 miles or half hour commute to Poipu.

Capacity: 1 guest maximum per instructor for private lesson up to 12 Guests at any one lesson time.

Inclusions: Guide/Instructor, surf board, rash guard and reef shoes and ocean safety briefing. Public parking is available at the Sheraton during the day at no additional cost.
Exclusions: Guests must bring their own sunscreen ("reef-safe" preferred), towel and dry bag or tote for personal belongings.
Restrictions: Minimum of 5 years old to participate.
This tour has a 48 hour cancellation policy. This means that once you're within 48 hours of the start time, the tour is non refundable. If you choose to cancel before this time, the standard 3% cancellation fee will apply. If the vendor needs to cancel your tour because of weather, a mechanical issue or any other reason you will receive a 100% refund of the price you paid.
Pride of America Cruise Ship: For Pride of America Cruise Ship passengers tour company will not pick up cruise ship passengers at the cruise ship dock. This tour can be reached via a rental car or Tom Barefoot's Tours could arrange for a private shuttle to pick you up directly at the dock. This tour can be organized for the afternoon on Thursday of your cruise ship schedule.
