Epic Island Volcano Journey - Hawaii Forest and Trail
Visit 4 different National Park sites, including Puuhonua o Honaunau, Hawaii Volcanoes and Puukohola Heiau. Walk through a massive private lava tube at Kula Kai caverns. Search for sea turtles at Punaluu black sand beach. Explore an exclusive tropical fruit farm and sample seasonal favorites while enjoying a view of Rainbow Falls from a private gazebo. Drive the historic back roads where the big buses can't. Enjoy a Farm- to fork dining experience featuring island -inspired favorites and cultural themed delicacies. This activity is easy to moderate and all ages are welcome. You will stop a couple times throughout the adventure for short hikes of less than one mile each. Except for the lava tube exploration, trails are relatively level. While exploring the lava tube, expect to descend and ascend approximately 30 feet.

Duration: 11-12 hours round trip.
Equipment: Custom touring vans, daypacks, binoculars, water bottles, rain gear and walking sticks.
Capacity: Minimum of 6 to confirm a tour and a maximum of 12 per touring vehicle.
A savory island continental breakfast, and a - Deli Trio lunch, deli-style sandwich, chips, cookie, sodas and juices.Deli -style sandwich - Choice of ham, turkey or tuna, lettuce, tomato and swiss cheese on whole wheat kaiser roll. Veggie sandwiches with lettuce, tomato, carrot, cucumber, zucchini and swiss cheese.
Inclusions: Walking sticks, day packs, warm wear and rain ponchos. All entry fees to parks and private sites, culturally themed afternoon snack, beverages and a souvenir water bottle.

Required Certifications: The participant is not required to have any certification or special license in order to participate.
What to Bring: It is required that everyone wears closed toed shoes on this activity. Everyone must bring identification. We recommend that you bring a light sweater or jacket. We recommend that everyone in your group brings warm clothes.
Restrictions: Children whose age is less than eight years old are not permitted on this activity. People who do not have a moderate level of physical fitness will not be permitted on this activity. Cancellations of this reservation cannot be made within forty-eight hours of the scheduled check in time.
Departure times may vary. Guests should not be physically challenged, unable to hike on uneven or rocky terrain, have respiratory or heart conditions, or be pregnant or in poor health. Wear sturdy closed- toed shoes or boots, long pants and a light jacket. Due to the dynamic nature of Hawaii Volcanoes National Park and Kilauea Volcano, active lava viewing conditions change daily or even hourly. The best viewing of current eruptive activity is on our Twilight Volcano Adventure. Must be able to do short hikes of one half to one mile. Cancellation policy: 1 to 5 guests 48 hours, 6 or more 48 hours, 10 guests 72 hours, more than 10 guests is 14 days.
