We just did the “From Maui - 2M Day At Pearl Harbor - Discover Hidden
Hawaii” on 10/31/16 and found there was some confusion towards the end of the
After completing all the Pearl Harbor stops, we started in to Honolulu and our
driver Miah (sp?) asked us and 2 other couples if we wanted him to drop us off
at the airport on the way into Honolulu to return the other guests to their
hotels. As we had expected a tour of Honolulu as well, we all said no.
When had dropped off all the other passengers in Honolulu, he asked us
where we would like to be dropped off, which confused us and the other 2
couples. None of us were looking forward to how to figuring out how to
return to the airport in rush hour traffic and was the source of some stress.
I explained that we were expecting a tour of Honolulu, including the
Punchbowl Cemetery, and to be returned to the airport per the tour description.
He thought we had already been given that tour with by our first tour
driver (whose name we forget) who had picked us up at the airport and had
taken us directly to Pearl Harbor. Once he understood what had happened,

to the airport, even though he was off the clock at this point and had been
driving since 5am.
Additionally we received a call, after returning to the airport, from Discover
Hawaii Tours stating that a driver was waiting to pick us up at a location in
Honolulu to return us to the airport. So wires were crossed somewhere.<br
This is NOT a slam against our Discover Hawaii Tour driver for most of the day,
Miah (sp?). In fact he went out of his way to take care of us and we were
While we thoroughly enjoyed our tour of the Pearl Harbor sites, we thought you
should know about this confusion to avoid stress for future travelers.
Only reason we didn't give it 5 stars is this confusion.
