Discover Hawai'i's unique myths, dieties and Legends of West Oahu on this 30 minute flight. Your pilot will delight you with stories of the demi-God Maui and how he used his hook and stories of Pele and where she lived as you view this fabled island from above. Tour central O'ahu, the beauty of the North Shore, and Wai'anae, retracing their adventures. From your vantage point, you will have a unique opportunity to see with your own eyes how the 'a¯ina (land) is inextricably linked to our akua (gods). This is a super flight for kids, or anyone interested in learning how the geographical features of Oahu form the culture and legends of Hawai'i.
Operates: Daily. 4-person minimum. Morning to late afternoon.
Departure Point: Kalaeloa Airport located at 300 Midway St, Kapolei, Oahu HI 96707
Duration: 30-minute flight time duration
Equipment: Bell 407 Helicopter with two way communication.
Capacity: 6 passengers per helicopter. In a Bell 407, the seating is executive style. There is 1 passenger in the front with the pilot and 5 in the back. 2 seats face the other 3 seats allowing you to see and talk to who you are flying with.


Inclusions: Narrated tour with two way communication with your pilot.
Exclusions: Co-pilot seat upgrade $125. Window seat upgrade is $50. Passenger between 265 lbs. to 315 lbs incur a $50 capacity surcharge and guest over 315 lbs an extra seat charge, both offer a window seat (subject to weight and balance restrictions).
Restrictions: Helicopter tour: Flight pattern and specific sights are subject to weather. Guests who weigh between 265 lbs to 315 lbs will be charged a $50 capacity surcharge. Guests over 315 lbs will be required to purchase a full additional seat. They will be a guaranteed window seat and an empty seat next to them (subject to weight and balance restrictions). You will be weighed at check in. If given weight is substantially lower than your actual weight, you may get bumped from the flight and you still have to pay for your seat.

This tour has a 48 hour cancellation policy. This means that once you're within 48 hours of the start time, the tour is non refundable. If you choose to cancel before this time, the standard 3% cancellation fee will apply. If the vendor needs to cancel your tour because of weather, a mechanical issue or any other reason you will receive a 100% refund of the price you paid.
