Behold many breathtaking sights on the 52 miles along the north shore of Maui. Along the way, you'll take-in incredible scenic views of rainforests, waterfalls, and beaches leading you to the charming town of Hana. KE'ANAE PENINSULA In Hawaiian legend, the taro that grew in the sacred patch of the ali'i was reputed to be of great size. Ke'anae is one of the major commercial wetland taro farming regions in the state of Hawai'i. KAHANU NATIONAL TROPICAL GARDEN Home to Pi'ilanihale Heiau, believed to be the largest ancient man-made structure in all of Polynesia. The culture and history that comes with this lovingly maintained garden connects its visitors to old Hawai'i. HANA Along Maui's rugged eastern coastline is the peaceful town of Hana, considered one of the last unspoiled Hawaiian frontiers. This small town is beautiful, and a very important place for the people of Hawai'i. WAI'ANAPANAPA STATE PARK A stunning black sand beach with an ocean cave that can be traveled through to the ocean. There's also a naturally made lava sea arch.
