Morning Bike Tour
Choose to be picked up at your accommodation or drive-in and meet at 8 am at Haiku Bike Shop for check-in and then on to the morning guided vehicle tour of the summit, crater, and visitor center. Guests then join a guided bike ride down Haleakala, with breaks in Kula and Makawao before returning to Haiku. Enjoy the magical lighting of the summit in daylight catching the extensive views on the way up and down. Your 23 mile bike ride begins at the park entrance 6,500 foot elevation where your guides will conduct a bicycle safety briefing before you start your way down the mountain, stopping for pictures at the Kula Marketplace, where you will have a break to get some beverages or snacks and use the restroom.
Optional Morning Van Tour
Enjoy the views and your van tour to the summit at 10,000' and then the ride back down the mountain to the town of Haiku with great stops along the way. Guests will be treated to a tour of Kula, Makawao and Haiku including the historic 4th Marine division Park before reaching downtown Haiku where food options will be available to them. Haiku as fast become a hub for quality restaurants, eateries, and food trucks. Guests that were picked up at their hotel will be treated to a tour of Paia after the bike ride as they return to the hotel.

Duration: Approximately 8 hours.
Equipment: Transportation is provided by Haleakala Eco Tours. Bike, helmet, windbreaker suit, insulated gloves.

Guests should bring their own water, snacks and beverages.
No Glass bottles is preferred. There is a "No Host lunch stop. Hot beverages provided at base yard prior to tour.
Inclusions: Guided land/bike tour, "no-host" lunch stop. Complimentary pick up and return to your hotel, condo or cruise ship.
Exclusions: A suggested list of non provided items guests should bring is on the reservation voucher.
Restrictions: Competent bikers with recent experience only. Age Restrictions: Minimum age to participateas a rider is 12 years old.Size and Weight Restrictions: Height requirement is a minimum 5 foot tall and weigh no more than 250 lbs.
Physical Health Restrictions: No guests on medications that cause drowsiness or with medical conditions including back or neck problems, recent surgeries or pregnant women.Cancellation Policy:
48 hours, 1 to 3 guest or 72 hours for Groups of 4 or more. This means that once you're within 48 hours, or 72 hours respectively of the start time, the tour is non refundable. If you choose to cancel before this time, both the standard 3% cancellation fee and a $50 rebooking fee will apply. If the vendor needs to cancel your tour because of weather, a mechanical issue or any other reason you will receive a 100% refund of the price you paid.
Pride of America Cruise Ship: Cruiser Phil's will pick you up directly at the cruise ship pier. This Maui Bike tour can be arranged for Monday of your cruise ship schedule.
