This introductory kayak and snorkel trip is ideal for families with children 5 and up or someone who would like a more relaxed tour. You can snorkel longer at one sport or do two shorter snorkel stops, frequently with turtles. This departure spot is ideal for those staying on the West side of Maui.
Operates: Daily 7:15 check in finish around 10:15 am
Departure Point: Pull off on the ocean side around Mile Marker 14.7 on Hwy 30.
Duration: 3 hours.
Equipment: Two person sit on top kayaks that can accommodate up to 500 lbs.
Capacity: Minimum of 2, (7 per guide and up to 20 guests.)
Menu:
Inclusions: Snorkeling masks and fins. Waterproof dry bag. Mesh snorkel gear bag. All kayaking equipment.
Exclusions: Swimsuit and Sandals (Be wearing these in advance). A bottle of water. Towel for after the tour. Sunscreen and or sun-shirt . Sunglasses and hat/visor.
Restrictions: Minimum age to participate is 5 years old. This tour has a 48 hour cancellation policy. This means that once you're within 48 hours of the start time, the tour is non refundable. If you choose to cancel before this time, the standard 3% cancellation fee will apply. If the vendor needs to cancel your tour because of weather, a mechanical issue or any other reason you will receive a 100% refund of the price you paid.
Pride of America Cruise Ship: Aloha Kayaks will not pick up cruise ship passengers at the cruise ship dock. These Kayak tours can be reached via a taxi or Tom Barefoot's Tours could arrange for a rental car shuttle to pick you up directly at the dock. This kayak/snorkel can be organized for the Monday of your cruise ship schedule.
