This is truly a wonderful experience showing all the highlights in and around Kailua-Kona. Explore historical cultural sights, our famous Kona coffee, scenic sights and best of all our local wild life! This tour has an optional ending, whether it is snorkeling at Kahaluu Bay also known as “Turtle Beach”, Shopping and site seeing on the historical ocean front Alii Drive, or enjoying a cold brew at our local Kona brewery.

Join us to Kaloko-Honokohau National Historical Park, covered in black lava, along with a beautiful white sand beach, sets the scene of this hidden gem. Explore Hawaiian cultural history, Hawaiian archaeology, petroglyphs, ancient fishponds, and several sacred temples. This area is also home to our local wildlife, including local birds and the Hawaiian green sea turtles! There is an optional 30 min – 40 min trail walk for passengers wanting to stretch their legs, and for those who like a more relaxing stroll, a shorter trail ( 100 yards 10 min walk ) is available to get to the sea turtles. Kailua-Kona was primarily a small fishing village. Now the historic seaside town hosts many historical sites, souvenir shops and markets. Going south towards South Kona and through Captain Cook Village, we will visit the famous nick named, “Painted Church”, due to its painted 3D depictions of the bible in the interior wooden walls all done with ordinary house paint.

Along the volcanic slopes is a perfect climate for our famous Kona Coffee. Hawaii is the only U.S. state that grows coffee and the coffee beans are all hand-picked.  Learn how Kona coffee is grown, harvested and packaged. There is also a volcanic lava tube customers are able to walk through and explore. Enjoy the coffee museum will sampling some of kona’s finest coffee.  To conclude this fabulous tour we offer an optional ending.
