The Maui Spirit Hana Haleakala tour is approximately 40-50 minutes long. View the eastern part of Maui and experience Haleakala National Park from the air. See the world's largest dormant volcano with moon-like craters and large lava flows. Next you will pass over the Hana rainforest with amazing waterfalls and some of the most isolated areas of the island. Views include old Hana Town, the Manawainui Valley and breathtaking coastlines. In the distance is the crescent shape of Molokini, a popular snorkel spot and the south Maui cities of Kihei, Wailea and Makena. During the winter, keep your eyes open for marine life including humpback whales.

Operates: Daily. flights from 8:30 am - 4:30 pm
Departure Point: Hanger #108 at the Kahului Heliport, Near Kahului Airport on Kala Road and #37 Haleakala Hwy.
Duration: Approximately 50 minutes.
Equipment: Eco Star Helicopters with wraparound windows throughout for superior visibility. Personal surround sound stereo headsets with voice activated microphones. Spacious interior with individual leather seating. Can accommodate passengers up to 300lbs without an additional weight surcharge.
Capacity: 7 passengers.
Inclusions: Narrated air tour.
Exclusions: Optional photos and videos of tour to purchase for additional cost.
Restrictions: A valid government issued photo ID for passengers 18 or older is required upon check in for all flights. Please "reconfirm" your reservation time with vendor 48 hours prior. Wear dark colors for better pictures.
Weight Restrictions:
Maximum Weight is 300 lbs. Purchase of an extra seat is necessary if weight exceeds this maximum.
ADA Restrictions:
Guests with either a walker or wheelchair are accommodated but must have others in their party to assist them in maneuvering the transfer in and out of the helicopter. The equipment does not get placed on the aircraft but stays with ground crew. Agent will assist you with any further details at the time of booking.

Cancellation Policy:

48 hours. This means that once you're within 48 hours of the start time, the tour is non refundable. If you choose to cancel before this time, the standard 3% cancellation fee will apply. If the vendor needs to cancel your tour because of weather, a mechanical issue or any other reason you will receive a 100% refund of the price you paid.

Pride of America Cruise Ship: Maui's Maverick Helicopter Tours do not pick up at the cruise ship but you can easily participate in this excursion by simply arranging for a taxi to take you from the Kahului harbor the short distance to the Kahului heliport. This helicopter tour can be set up the Sunday or Monday of your cruise itinerary.
