Enjoy a ride on the first boat out of the Maalaea Harbor in the golden hours of dawn. Experience the ocean bathed in the golden hues of sunrise! A favorite of photographers and sightseers. This is an exceptional time for whale watching when the wind is often times calmer, and the light from the rising sun offering beautiful photographic opportunities of whale tails, breaches, and pectoral slaps. Join in for a sunrise whale watch and capture the first whale sighting of the day as the sun rises over Haleakala. Whale sightings are guaranteed or you go again free. All of the features of the regular Whale Watch Eco-Adventures led by Certified Marine Naturalists. Children age 5-12 are free(one child per paying adult). Children 4 and under free.
Operates: Daily at 6:30 am from December 1, 2019 thru April 15th, 2020.
Departure Point: Please meet 45 minutes prior tour at the Pacific Whale Foundation Store, 300 Maalaea Road, located at the Ocean Center Shopping Complex adjacent to the Maui Ocean Center Aquarium and next to Harbor.
Duration: 2 hours.
Equipment: Ocean Odyssey, Guardian or Voyager are 65 foot double deck power catamarans.
Capacity: 100 passengers.

Inclusions: This lively adventure also includes a complimentary watching Hawaii's Humpback Whales color guide, whale poster for your party, and Jr. Naturalist Program for kids. Whale sightings are guaranteed or you receive a coupon to go again at no charge. Kids under 12 years old go for free, one per paying adult. Children 4 and under are always free. This activity is handicap accessible by walker only. Restrictions may apply.
Exclusions: Snacks and beverages available for sale on board. Affordable rentals of binoculars and cameras
Restrictions: This is a seasonal tour and can only be booked/reserved for dates specified.
Pacific Whale Foundation reserves the right to substitute vessels and equipment. Guests must have a valid picture ID to purchase and consume alcohol. This tour has a 48 hour cancellation policy. This means that once you're within 48 hours of the start time, the tour is non refundable. If you choose to cancel before this time, the standard 3% cancellation fee will apply. If the vendor needs to cancel your tour because of weather, a mechanical issue or any other reason you will receive a 100% refund of the price you paid.
Pride of America Cruise Ship: This Pacific Whale Foundation Whale Watch will not pick up cruise ship passengers at the cruise ship dock. These whale watch tours can be reached via a taxi or Tom Barefoot's Tours could arrange for a rental car shuttle to pick you up directly at the dock. Pacific Whale Foundation whale watch trips can be organized for the Monday of your cruise ship schedule. Please book well in advance to assure availability.
