Tour Description:
Before you arrive at Pearl Harbor, your tour guide will provide a brief history of the first attack on the US during World War II at Pearl Harbor. Enjoy live historical narration by your expert guide, see dramatic footage of the actual attack, board a Navy shuttle to tour the harbor and view the Arizona Memorial and the USS Bowfin Submarine. See the U.S. Pacific Fleet headquarters and visit the Arizona Memorial WWII museum. Experience the Mighty Mo USS Missouri Battleship (admission included) and stand on the surrender deck where WWII ended. You will also see historic Honolulu and Iolani Palace, the statue of Kamehameha, the Civic Center and the Punchbowl National Cemetery of the Pacific. Drive by President Obama's childhood home, Punahou School (where Obama graduated from high school) and Kapiolani Medical Center, where Obama was born.
Operates: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Saturday at 6:00am for Tour A, 9:00am for Tour B and 11:00am for Tour C. Tour times may vary.
Departure Point: Pick up from most hotels in Waikiki.
Duration: 7 to 9 hours.
Equipment: Transportation in an air conditioned deluxe mini coach.
Capacity: 24 passengers.

Guests may lunch or snack at any time on their own self guided time at the Visitors Center or other locations with the exception of their strict ticket time for the Arizona Memorial which should be adhered to or could be missed.

Inclusions: Professional tour guide, transportation, no host lunch stop and admissions.
Exclusions: The Punchbowl stop is time permitting on the afternoon tour only. $5.00 Storage lockers are available at Pearl Harbor Visitor Center. Water and snacks are available for purchase at the USS Arizona Memorial Visitor Center and the USS Missouri gift shop.
Foreign Language Translation: There is no foreign language translation available.
Handicapped Accessible: This tour is not suitable for handicapped individuals.
Required Certifications: The participant is not required to have any certification or special license in order to participate.
Serves Alcohol: There is not any alcohol available during the activity.

Cancellation Policy:


This tour has a 48 hour cancellation policy. This means that once you're within 48 hours of the start time, the tour is non refundable. If you choose to cancel before this time, the standard 3% cancellation fee will apply. No-shows are subject to full charges. If the vendor needs to cancel your tour because of weather, a mechanical issue or any other reason you will receive a 100% refund of the price you paid.
Departure Airport Restrictions:

Guest must arrive at Departure airport 1 hour prior to flight departure. Guests need to also check in for their return flight upon morning check in. Flight schedules are subject to change (Hawaiian Air flights are usually not direct and must go through Honolulu).


Pearl Harbor Tour Restrictions:

The US Department of the Interior has instituted a no bags policy. DO NOT BRING large purses, diaper or tote bags, camera cases, video cameras larger than 12 inches, fanny or backpacks (all bags must be stored for a fee of $5.00 per bag). Please bring vital items in a manner that they can be placed in your pockets. Do not leave valuables on the bus.
Government issued Identification (Passports for visitors outside US)
Must be at least 4 years old and 36" tall.
Wear Covered Shoes and Comfortable clothes (Shirts Are Required)
No Swim Suits
FOOD & BEVERAGES are available for purchase at Pearl Harbor Visitor Center and outside of the USS Bowfin Submarine.

Aloha Sunshine Tours is not responsible for long lines and delays which occur frequently at the National Park as the USS Arizona Memorial is operated on a first come first served basis each day. Aloha Sunshine Tours is not responsible and will not offer any refunds if guests do not gain entry to the Arizona Memorial, movie or other sights due to weather shut down by the US Navy or other government agency.


Pearl Harbor Policy:

Expect delays. EVERYONE is required to get in line upon arrival with their group to pick up tickets from Park Ranger to go on harbor boat tour. Tickets need to be picked up 30 MINUTES PRIOR TO YOUR TOUR TIME if late your space will be given away.

ADA Restrictions:
Collapsible walkers are accommodated and need to be confirmed on a case by case basis. Guests must be able to maneuver transfers in and out of the vehicle and may want others in their party to assist them.

Tour Bus Policies:

Aloha Sunshine Tours is not responsible for valuables left on the bus. Food and beverages are not permitted on the bus, bottled water only. No room for suitcases or large bags.

Current Repairs:
Bridge onto the USS Arizona Memorial is under repair. The memorial is seen on boat harbor tour but cannot be boarded. Battleship Missouri's elevator is not available at this time restricting walker accessibility.
