Dolphin Swim - Sunlight On Water

Starting at: $108.90

Your experience will start with a Hawaiian ceremony to greet the day, then begin your adventure of a morning swim with the dolphins! They love to ride the bow wake of the boat. Seeing them from the boat is one thing but getting to swim with them is almost an indescribable event. After receiving instructions on the proper protocols for entering into the dolphins' world and receiving some insider tips on how to get the most out of your dolphin swim, the moment comes when quietly and gently you ease into the water with these incredible beings and join the dolphin pod. It's a safe and rewarding experience for the entire family. Guests should know how to swim and have a willing spirit. During the winter, there's a good chance you'll see humpback whales on the way to be with the dolphins. Other interesting sea life has been known to pay a visit as well, such as spotted dolphins, bottlenose dolphins, whale sharks, pilot whales, manta rays, eagle rays and sea turtles.

Lori suggested this tour for my wife and I. We were out on June 25,2013 for a gorgeous morning in Kailua bay with a lot of active dolphins. The boat and crew were great. Outstanding service, and just an incredible experience of being in the water with a lot of spinner dolphins. I was expecting to have a chance to be in the water as they swam past, then having to catch up and be dropped in the water again. Instead we were in the water with dolphins in the area with only a few boat position adjustments. The dolphins were incredible with slow passes to look us over and groups playing nearby as if we weren't even there. I have been on several snorkel cruises prior to this, and this was so much more incredible than just snorkeling over a reef to see fish! The crew was taking photos that are then posted to Facebook for the passengers. I.E. - Stunning photos of the people and the dolphins without some sales pitch to purchase a photo package. This could not have been better from start to finish.

We had a wonderful time on our swimming with the Dolphins tour. The staff was fantastic especially with my 11 year old daughter who was so thrilled to be so close to the Dolphins. We even saw a rare pig me sperm whale. And they had lots of snacks too. Would definitely book with them again, best tour company out there, highlight of our big island trip!

Started out fine but my husband got sick and instead of heading back they went on a wild goose chase for a whale. There were too many people on the boat so by the time everyone got in the dolphins had swam away. I enjoyed being on the boat and seeing them swim and jump from the boat but the actual swimming with them was frenetic for us and the dolphins. I swam with them off the shore by the Royal Kona and that was free and relaxed and seemed more natural without a bunch of other people chasing them down. The staff were nice but I didn't feel any empathy towards my husband.
