Departure Point: Meet at the Last hangar on the left of Kahului Heliport, Near Kahului Airport on Kala Road and #37 Haleakala Hwy.
Duration: 45 minute flight (approximately).
Equipment: ASTAR helicopters equipped with air conditioning and Sony/Bose stereo system.
Capacity: 6 passengers.
Inclusions: Upgraded digital DVD system for a personal in flight media and photo combo is available after your flight for $64.95. Premier seating for two, or single passenger upon availability.

Restrictions: ADA Restrictions: Walkers do not get placed on aircraft. Guests must be able to maneuver the transfer and will be advised if they must have others in their party to assist them in order to participate. Agent will assist you at the time of booking.Weight Restrictions: Guests must weigh no more than 240 lbs. Any guests weighing over that amount will need to pay for a "comfort seat" at an additional rate. If wieght substantially exceeds the weight provided at reservation guest could get bumped from the flight but be charged. Weigh-ins are mandatory and refunds are not given if you have not pre-arranged a comfort seat. Cancellation Policy:
48 hours. This means that once you're within 48 hours of the start time, the tour is non refundable. If you choose to cancel before this time, the standard 3% cancellation fee will apply. If the vendor needs to cancel your tour because of weather, a mechanical issue or any other reason you will receive a 100% refund of the price you paid.

Tour can be reserved Sunday or Monday of your cruise ship schedule. Please ask agent if you have questions regarding transportation and tour/departure location. The flight was awesome. Bright sunny day, flying over haleakala is breathtaking - small waterfalls around the mountain. The Air Maui staff was very good. Memorable one, if you like to explore aerial views.

Beautiful day for a great tour. Very smooth flight.
Unfortunately I was heaviest passenger so I was monkey in the middle seat. This seat has very little leg room and is best for children or very short adults. My bad knee was pushed into the metal back of the seat in front of me making me undomfortable. I also could not get any photos from this seat that didn't have reflections on windows or body parts of other passengers. Scenery was great, and pilot did a great job of sharing information about nature as well as cultural facts. Would like to have seen more of southern coast and Seven Sacred Pools. Good amount of scenery for 30 minutes of actual flight time.

It was amazing, exhilarating! This was my husband's favorite part of our entire vacation. Our pilot/tour guide, Troy, was very knowledgeable about the history of the island and where all of the best, most visible waterfalls were. UNFORGETTABLE!!

My wife and I took the Haleakala Crater tour. Our pilot, Dylan, was knowledgable and the ride was very smooth (not a lot of wind that day so YMMV). The views are breathtaking and we enjoyed the pilot's playlist. I was particularly amused by his choice of John Mayer's "Gravity" as we were landing.
The entire staff was professional and very helpful. I would fly with Air Maui anytime.

Barefoot's Tours handled our June 13th helicopter tour with Air Maui.
Although the weather did not allow us to do the original tour we had
planned for Hana/Haleakala; Air Maui offered us a replacement tour of the West
coast of Maui to the island of Molokai. Cameron, our pilot, made the trip
worth it and we were still able to see high cliffs and waterfalls.

March 25th for our 50th wedding anniversary we gave our family of 12 helicopter rides of Mauii. Our pilot was awesome, non-stop history of the island and I felt safe at all times. There were six in each helicopter according to weight. The waterfalls, the beautiful scenery was breath taking. Loved it all.

Our pilot was amazing. We were disappointed because we booked the
Hana/Haleakala trip but at the last minute they told us they could not take us.
This was disappointing because when I booked I inquired as to whether
afternoon flights would have weather issues and was told no. We did not
have time to rebook so we accepted the alternate trip to Molokai which was
stunning as well. This is the only reason for 4 stars
