Departure Point: Check in 45 minutes prior at 4231 Ahukini Rd. (Hwy. 570), .5 mile from Lihue Airport.

Restrictions:
Do not bring any loose items. Dress in warm clothes (it will get cool and windy, cameras must have a wrist strap or neck band, long hair should be tied up!) Contact lenses and glasses can be blown off when the wind comes into the helicopter. No children under the age of 12 years old. If a person is over 250 lbs they will be charged the price of an additional seat. If two persons traveling together weigh in excess of 400 lbs then they will be charged the equivalent of 3 seats. ADA Restrictions: Wheelchairs and Walkers are available but vendor restrictions will need to be confirmed on a case by case basis. Often wheelchairs need to be left behind and guests must be able to maneuver transfers to the aircraft. Guests will be advised if they must have others in their party to assist them in order to participate. Agent will assist you at the time of booking. Cancellation Policy:This tour has a 24 hour cancellation policy. This means that once you're within 24 hours of the start time, the tour is non refundable. If you choose to cancel before this time, there will be no cancellation fee. If the vendor needs to cancel your tour because of weather, a mechanical issue or any other reason you will receive a 100% refund of the price you paid.

The best way to see the coast by far! Took awesome pictures and had a wonderful experience. The variety of scenery you see gives you a greater appreciation for the island as a whole. Would definitely recommend it to others.

This was the highlight of our 2 week Hawaii vacation. The staff were wonderful, even when we were a little late due to unexpected traffic. Our pilot was very knowledgeable, giving us little bits of trivia about the areas we were flying over. He asked us if we wanted an adventurous or calm tour. My 2 teen boys and husband quickly answered adventure, so I (mom) went along with them, and I'm so glad I did! Our pilot provided us with steep banks and turns, offering us extraordinary views of cliffs and waterfalls. As well as hovering very close to the ground in order to see some wild pigs he had seen earlier in the day. We went out over the water to view the Na'Pali coast, which was breathtaking. This was by far the most exciting, memorable, and overall wonderful tour that we have ever taken. I highly recommend Jack Harter Helicopter tours, especially with the doors off!

Awesome trip with a fantastic pilot! A definite must to do in Kauai even if you forgo something else. I am scared of heights but felt safe with my pilot and know that I personally experienced the country as an "insect or bird" soaring over the countryside. Would definitely do it again !

Spectacular experience on Jack Harter's "doors off" Hughes 500, Brad (pilot) had narrative and piloting skills, our faces hurt from smiling and laughing. A heli tour on Kauai is an experience you'll never forget.

This tour was my first time on a helicopter and it did not disappoint! I chose the ride without the doors because as the saying says 'go big or go home'! Plus let's be honest, it took me 28 years to get on a helicopter who knows how long it will be until my next trip up! The Pilot Harry was amazing. Throughout the trip he guided us through Kauai and even gave us sight seeing spots that we could drive or hike to once back on land. This trip is well worth the money and the time. I hope you all enjoy it as much as I did!!

I have done a lot of things in my life and this has topped them all! If you ever get to Kauai, you simply MUST take a helicopter tour and I recommend Jack Harter and I recommend booking through Tom Barefoot's Tours (tombarefoot.com).
Oh, and "doors off" is the only way to go!! Don't even consider doing it with the doors on. Thanks to Mr. Tom Barefoot himself for his advice and recommendations. My wife and I both loved it!

We took a Helicopter tour with Jack Carter Tours and it was not only the best experience on the island during our 10 day stay, but one of the best experiences of our lives!
We drove all over the island by car, hiked many of the locations and even explored the coast by boat, but this was by far the best way to see it all! The views were incredible, we were able to see parts that we didnt think we would due to hiking inaccessibility, including the Na Pali Coast and more waterfalls than we could count (including the Jurassic Park falls).
Our tour guide, Eli, really knew his stuff and was able to guide us around the island while providing some amazing information about the sights we were looking at.
If your going to do anything on this island, flying with these guys should be top of your list! It was worth every single dollar!
