Experience an exhilarating zipping adventure. Glide and soar above the lush tropical rain forest canopy. Explore tropical rain forests, lush valleys and streams, and swim in a refreshing mountain stream. Zip across valleys, soar over streams and view places more spectacular than you can even imagine. This exclusive outdoor adventure takes you into the heart of Kaua'i, through private plantation lands that have never before been open to the public. Your three and a half hour zipline experience begins with a historic and scenic tour while you cruise to the start of the zip course. After a thorough briefing by your certified guides, you are ready to zip over tropical forest, streams and jungles that are rich with magnificent scenery. Seven separate ziplines will take you along the mountainside to the valley floor below. End your zip with a delicious picnic lunch and a refreshing swim. Relax, bask in the sun, or just soak in a natural swimming pool. This is truly an incredible, exhilarating journey that you will never forget.
Operates: Daily at 9:00am and 1:00pm. Check in 30 minutes prior to departure.
Departure Point: 3-4131 Kuhio Highway in Hanama'ulu on Route 56.
Duration: 3.5 hours.
Equipment: Helmets and harnesses.

Inclusions: 7 ziplines ranging from 450 to 940 feet in length and from 40 to 200 feet in height, and snacks and beverages.
Exclusions: This activity is not accessible by wheelchair or walker.
Restrictions: The minimum age to participate in this activity is 12 years old. Children 12 to 15 years of age must be accompanied by an adult. All minors must have a parent or guardian sign a waiver. Riders must weigh between 100lbs - 250lbs. Accurate weight information for each guest will be required at the time of reservation. For safety reasons, a scale will be available upon check in to verify the accuracy of body weight. Those with weights outside of our weight range will not be eligible to participate and will be responsible for full tour fare. No refunds will be granted for not meeting our weight restrictions. Guests who are uncomfortable with heights or who have back, hip or knee problems will not be allowed. First trimester pregnancies are welcome, with your doctor's approval.
This tour has a 48 hour cancellation policy for 1 to 5 guests and a 72 hour cancellation policy for groups of 6 or more. This means that once you're within 48 hours, or 72 hours respectively of the start time, the tour is non refundable. If you choose to cancel before this time, both the standard 3% cancellation fee will apply. If the vendor needs to cancel your tour because of weather, a mechanical issue or any other reason you will receive a 100% refund of the price you paid.
Pride of America Cruise Ship: Kauai Backcountry will not pick you directly at the pier. This tour can be reached via a taxi or Tom Barefoot's Tours could arrange for a rental car shuttle to pick you up directly at the dock. This Kauai zipline tour is available on Thursday of your cruise ship schedule.
