Kona Snorkel Trips - Splashers

The eco-friendly Kona Snorkel Trips - Splashers operates a 19 passenger, 30' rigid hull inflatable raft off the Kona Coast of the Big Island. This extremely fast vessel was initially used by the U.S. Seals and is propelled by two 250 HP Yamaha engines. The stability, comfort and speed of the raft allows it to traverse the entire coastline between Honokohau Harbor and Kealakekua Bay and beyond on its daily snorkel and dolphin watches. It is not unusual for them to come across pods of 50-100 spinner dolphins on these ocean treks and you will have the opportunity to jump overboard an allow the dolphins to come up and swim with you if they choose. Snorkeling at the Kealakekua marine preserve is always a treat and quite often additional snorkel spots will be available on these four-hour tours. Whale watch tours from these boats are always very special and the Manta Ray tours that are offered in the evening are a rarefied enjoyment as there are only three spots to swim with the mantas on earth and two of them are off the coast of Kona. Splasher's Ocean Adventures is only one of a couple tour companies in Kona that will provide a later evening tour.
