Body Glove

Body Glove's deluxe 65' catamaran operating out of Kona on the Big Island has been providing great fun for Hawaii visitors for years. Included in their quiver of activities are a morning snorkel and dolphin viewing tour which heads south from Kailua-Kona town to one of a number of snorkel locations with exotic sounding names such as Fantasy Reef, Red Hill, Dolphin Cove or Turtle Heaven. Also on the roster is a sunset dinner cruise, a historical luncheon cruise and a whale watch during the winter season. In addition to snorkeling, SNUBA diving is also available. The captain and crew on these charters are very attentive and narrations intersperse the day with facts, stories and tidbits of information about this 'history rich' region. Body Glove is 100% wheelchair accessible with a customized boarding ramp with portable extensions to accommodate all wheelchairs including manual, electric and scooters. The lower deck of the 65' catamaran is fully accessible from bow to stern including tables and restrooms and even has limited pier handicapped parking with a placard with advance reservations.

Sailing charters on the Big Island of Hawaii generally depart from the Kona side of the island. Because Kona is usually protected from the stiff tradewinds by the enormous volcanoes behind, these sails are often gentle in nature and are a great way to experience the beauty of Hawaii's ocean and sealife.
