Description: Visit Maui's famous dormant volcano, the spectacular House of the Sun, Mount Haleakala Crater. Travel through the Upcountry Kula area to the 10, 043 foot summit of Haleakala National Park, the Visitor Center and Pu'u Ula`ula Overlook. You will see the unique protea blossoms (in season) and rare silver sword plants. Some of the highlights you will encounter are unique species of birds, such at the Hawaii State bird, the Nene goose, the town of Wailuku, sugar cane fields and Ka`ahumanu Church. Another feature on this tour is the scenic drive to soaring Iao Valley State Park. No host lunch stop.*
