The Flyin Hawaiian Zip Line tour is one of the few companies in the state that attempts to make a visible change in the environment that they are using. Not only does Flyin Hawaii educate their guests as to the flora, fauna and endangered species on their course along the beautiful West Maui Mountains but they make a commitment on each and every tour to carry with them a plant called the Hibiscus Breckenridge, which is the Hawaii State flower.
On a slope just before the 7th zip line they plant (with the help of their zip lining guests) these flowers which they laboriously carried and zipped across the entire length of the course. Each new plant represents a single crossing by one group of guests and in the not so distant future we hope to see thousands of these beautiful plants adorning the countryside along the West Maui Mountains.
