Maui Downhill, Sunrise from Haleakala Maui - Tom Barefoot's Tours

This morning it was absolutely pouring rain at my house in Haiku and when the rain didn't let up all the way through the drive into Kahului where I met up with Maui Downhill at their base yard I was a little worried that we might be socked in up on the summit. However, once we got to the top we were well above the clouds. The clouds were beautiful and actually helped to enhance the sunrise with all their wispy movements in and out of the crater. The other upside of the weather today is it was actually much warmer then normal for this time of year.
