The Morning Molokini Snorkel cruise with Quicksilver Charters turned out to be quite an enjoyable outing. We left Maalaea Harbor just after daybreak and made our way to the small volcanic atoll of Molokini which sits just off shore of the Makena coastline. The water visibility was amazing (approx 200ft). Once in the water we saw all kinds of colorful fishes and we even came across a rare species of jellyfish. The jellyfish actually got eaten by a medium sized trigger fish right in front of us which made it seem almost like we were on some sort of nature special on television. After we were done snorkeling at Molokini we continued on to an area of the Maui coastline which is known as Turtle Town. Here we spotted many large Hawaiian Green Sea Turtles before we eventually got out of the water to check out the onboard BBQ lunch.
