Aqua Adventures, Turtle Arches - Tom Barefoot's Tours

This trip out to Turtle Town with Aqua Adventures was a very special experience. I got to explore the arches and the caves that are found here. In addition to that I got to observe a large number of turtles including a turtle cleaning station. A Cleaner Rass is a small fish that feeds of the algae and parasites that grow on other fish and marine creatures such as turtles. Today I got to observe a school of Cleaner Rass cleaning the shell of a large Hawaiian Green Sea Turtle. The part of the encounter that was even more interesting was how the other Turtles seemed to be forming a line behind that turtle that was being cleaned so they could be taken care by the Cleaner Rass next.
