SNUBA Diving is similar to SCUBA diving in the sense that you breath air under the surface of the water through a regulator. The difference is that instead of having the air tanks on your back you have them trailing behind you floating on the surface aboard small inflatable rafts. SNUBA diving requires much less training then SCUBA diving because the depths you can achieve is limited by the length of your air hose (which is normally about 15 feet long). The whole family can usually take part because the minimum ages are much lower then SCUBA diving. Today we went SNUBA diving off of Poipu, Kauai and were amazed how many fish we encountered on our dive.
