David Barnes of Maui Sporting Clays talks about the course. David was brought over initially to help design the course because of his experience in sporting clays. The charm of Maui grew on him and now he lives here full time running the Maui Sporting Clays operations. They cater to beginner as well as advanced shooters and have different packages that will suit the needs of shooters all across the spectrum of shooting ability. They have a huge number of stations inside the crater that can shoot the clays towards you, away from you, across to the left or right, and even rolling on the ground. One of our favorite parts of our trip to Maui Sporting Clays was the "Bird Brain" where multiple shooters fire at a variety of targets that are randomly thrown out to simulate a hunting situation, it was a blast!
