The Wild Bunch - Some years ago I found myself sitting in the comfortable salon area of the fishing boat “The Wild Bunch” while it was moored in its slip in Kewalo Basin. While enjoying a refreshing beverage I was enchanted by the stories of the boat’s captain, Dudley Worthy. It turns out that Dudley had been fishing since he was a kid back in Santa Cruz, California. He has an extensive background of sportfishing around the world, having fished off of Fiji, Samoa, Thailand, Viet Nam Madiera, and Diego Garcia. He also has a long history of participating in fishing tournaments world wide which include those in the Bahamas, Puerto Rico Cozumul, Cancun, Matzatlan, Cabo San Lucas, Aculpuco, Cairns, Sydney, Lizard Island and of course Hawaii. For the past 25 years he has been operating his charter fishing boats on Oahu and his vast experience makes his operation a very successful one.
