THE SURF
BUS offers activity tours to the North Shore of Oahu. Activities
include kayaking, biking, snorkeling and swimming. Equipment provided:
cruise bike, mountain bike, kayak, snorkel gear, boogie boards and
entry to Waimea Park and Falls. The Bus Tour only is just $52.25
and includes pick up and return from Waikiki, with one activity
it is $64.75, an additional activity ie, snorkel gear, kayak or bike
is available for an additional fee. Horseback Riding Tours, Surf Lessons
or Jet Ski can be added and paid for on the bus.

STOP 1
- SHARK'S COVE includes CHOICE of Bike or Kayak
A) BIKE RIDE the TREE TUNNEL this is where you are set up with
cruise bikes and the starting point to the "Tree Tunnel Bike Path",
which leaves Shark's Cove and goes all the way to Sunset Beach. This
is an easy activity as the path is well paved, shaded and level. Folks
can stop at the famous surf spots like Pipeline, Rocky Point and Sunset
Beach. You can also follow the bike path the other way towards Waimea
Bay and Waimea Falls Park and Audubon Center. Maps are provided to show
you where other points of interest are located.
OR SNORKEL and KAYAK at Shark's Cove, which is named, not after
the predator, but the lava rock formations of this natural pool. It is
safe for bathers and small children alike, guests will have the option
to snorkel and kayak. Go outside the pool and you'll encounmter turtles,
sealife, lava tubes and caves or do nothing, sunbathe or lay under the
tree.
After a couple of hours at your chosen stop and once you've worked up
an appetite, you'll be picked up and taken to a No-Host Lunch at Historic
Haleiwa Town with time to also explore its quaint Art Galleries and Shops. BIKE

STOP 2
- PUPUKEA RIDGELINE provides a moderate level, mountain bike and
hiking trail. Enjoy amazing views of the North Shore and cool mountain
breezes. Horseback riding is available for an additional fee.
After a couple of hours at your chosen stop and once you've worked up
an appetite, you'll be picked up and taken for a No-Host Lunch at Historic

STOP 3
- WAIMEA VALLEY AND AUDUBON CENTER stroll through one of the most
extensive collections of Polynesian plants found anywhere. Over an
hour round trip on a well paved, slight inclined, sunlit path. You
will also pass many indigenous and endangered bird species. Educational
signboards document plant species and their importance to the traditional
Hawaiian culture. At the Falls you can cool off in the pool below.
After a couple of hours at your chosen stop and once you've worked up
an appetite, you'll be picked up and taken to a No-Host Lunch at Historic

STOP 4
- WAIMEA BAY BEACH a popular beach for locals and tourists alike,
Waimea has it all. You can easily spot turtles cruising around and
spinner dolphins early in the morning putting on a show just offshore.
Experience swimming with turtles and tropical fish in their natural
habitat. Crystal clear water, sandy bottom and "Jump Rock" a
very easy to climb rock with different jump platforms at varying heights
from 5 to 18 feet, right in front of the lifeguard tower. Small waves
roll in the shore in the summer and the biggest waves show up in the
winter. After a couple of hours at your chosen stop and once you've
worked up an appetite, you'll be picked up and taken to a No-Host Lunch
at Historic Haleiwa Town with time to also explore its quaint Art Galleries

STOP 5
- HALEIWA where you will be set up with kayaks, water bikes or
paddle boats, so you can paddle your way around the point to the secluded
beach where "LOST" episodes are filmed. Or navigate the Anahulu
River, go under the famous Rainbow Bridge and up to the Taro Plantation.
For an additional fee Surfing Lessons are available with some of the
best licensed instructors on the island. Jetskis are also available
at an additional fee.
