Sightseeing on Oahu is one of the biggest categories of activities on the island but your sightseeing tours do not necessarily need to be from on the island alone. Sightseeing tours can also take place from the sea along the coast of Oahu as well. The tours of the island from the vantage point of the sea provide you with a much different prospective than from the land. These are great tours for those that are simply interested in enjoying the island from the viewpoint of a boat without having to go snorkeling or get into the water as well.

North Shore Catamaran Charters sails out of the quaint North Shore town of Haleiwa. This is the famous coastline you've heard about that has some of the biggest surf in the world at places such as Sunset Beach, Waimea Bay and Pipeline. During the winter months the surf is often enormous and conditions are too radical to allow for snorkeling off the coast. During this season the boat is mostly used to see our visiting humpback whale population and other marine animals. During the fall October and November months they feature a Sightseeing, Sailing, Picnic Excursion. Sunset cruises are available all year long as are private charters for groups of 19 or less. This boat is beautiful and is a great choice for an intimate sailing, sightseeing, snorkeling or whale watch experience.
