Sea Life Park is an attraction that was made for children of all ages. If you have a fondness for animals your heart will absolutely melt into the enjoyment you will experience here. This world-class marine attraction, located at scenic Makapuu point about 15 miles from Waikiki, is loaded with exhibits and hands-on experiences with animals. Do you want to swim with dolphins? Well who doesn’t...your in the right place. Enjoy sea-lions, penguins, sharks, stingrays, turtles, sea birds and so much more. You’ll be able to see open air aquatic shows and reef aquariums, be able to interact with trainers and appreciate the environmental work being done at the center to preserve endangered species. The Sea Life Park is on the top of the list of adventures recommended for children. Open Daily from 10:30am to 5:00pm and Peak Seasonal Hours of 9:30am to 5:00pm.

One paying adult must accompany each child between the ages of 8 and

in good physical condition. Participants wear float vests. Pregnant
women are not permitted to participate. Bring a swimsuit and towel.
Full body bathing suit or rash guard is recommended. For you convenience
there are lockers, rinse station and changing area. No shower facilities.
You may not enter the water carrying cameras, hats or other unsecured
items. Photos and videos are available for sale. Check in is one hour
prior. If you do not check in by this time they have the right to sell
your seat. There is a $20 rescheduling fee for changes made
within 48 hours prior to program.

Sea Lion Discovery - Sea Life Park

Description: This program gives participants a unique
opportunity to swim with a sea lion in a playful, educational and interactive
atmosphere. After a short orientation with the trainer, guests will
join in the fun with these entertaining and affectionate creatures.
During the program, guests will be able to stroke a sea lion as they
swim underwater followed with a performance and a kiss. Guests will
also help the trainer by giving the sea lions signals to enable them
to prove their intelligence and abilities. The sea lions have a great
sense of humor and love to mimic people; guests should be prepared
to laugh while participating in this program.*

Hawaiian Reef - Stingray Ballet in the 300,000 gallon Hawaiian
Reef Tank you can watch divers swim with stingrays. Over 1,000 reef
animals and organisms, including sharks, sting rays, turtles and various
schools of tropical fish and the Humuhumunukunukuapuaa (Hawaii's state
fish) reside here.
Pirates Lagoon - Fun for children of all ages, featuring a giant "pirate ship" maze and interactive play areas. (Ideal for birthday parties)
Sea Lion Cafe - Offers a variety of scenic dining and snacking areas with views of the park and Makapuu Beach. Snack bars around the park feature such delights as gourmet Milkshakes, Funnel Cakes and Hawaiian Shaved Ice. Cafe hours are 9:00am to 4:00pm daily.

Sea Life Park - For me, my visit to Sea Life Park was at the top of the list of things I enjoyed in Oahu, and if the smiles on the faces of those visitors around me reflected their inner feelings as well, I think it could be accurately surmised that Sea Life Park is a place that everyone loves. It is impossible to not get a warm and cozy feeling when seeing sea lions playing or monk seals warming themselves in the sun. Penguins take the prize for comedians, stingrays for grace and dolphins get the highest grades on their report cards for sheer intelligence, acrobatic ability and warmth of character. If you like animals you’ll like Sea Life Park, it’s simply impossible not to! There is so much to see and do. You can attend the Hawaii Ocean Theater Show, view the Hawaiian Reef Stingray Ballet, see the Turtle or the Sea Lion feeding, attend the Monk Seal trainer talk, Seabird Sanctuary Trainer Talk or Penguin Habitat Trainer Talk or see the Dolphin Cove Show or enjoy the Touch Pool Exploration. Fun will be had by all, but if you want to hit the real bonanza try the Dolphin Encounter, the Dolphin Swim Adventure or above all the Dolphin Royal Swim. Each of these will get you into the water with the dolphins but the Dolphin Royal Swim is the best. You will be able to touch them and love-um-up as you get photographed while being kissed by your gracious hosts. You’ll be in the tank with two dolphins that will allow you to ride them in tandem while holding their dorsal fins and even better be able to play “rocket-man” while each dolphin pushes your outstretched feet from below and jettison you across the pool to the other side with half your body extended out of the water. This is a great place for education, a great place for children and a great place for people who love animals.
