Polynesian Adventure Tours to Maui
Polynesian Adventure Tours offer wonderful one day tours to the island of Maui allowing you to see the sights that Maui has to offer and at the same time not have to leave the comfort of your hotel or condo on the island of Oahu. These tours a full day tours starting from Honolulu International Airport, although pick-up can be arranged from your hotel. Starting times are usually very early, perhaps about six in the morning. You are flown over to the island of Maui and there you will visit two of the main attractions the island has to offer: the Crater of Haleakala and the Iao Valley. Mount Haleakala is the giant dormant volcano on Maui and extends over ten-thousand feet above sea level. At its top is the tremendous crater Haleakala is known for which is three-thousand feet deep and twenty-one miles in circumference. After visiting here you will view many of the sights of upcountry Maui including protea farms and other sites of agricultural interest and then be taken to the sheer cliffs and stream of one of the most remarkable valleys in all of Hawaii, called Iao Valley. …
| Description: Visit Maui's famous dormant volcano, the spectacular House of the Sun, Mount Haleakala Crater. Travel through the Upcountry Kula area to the 10,023 foot summit of Haleakala National Park, the Visitor Center and Pu'u Ula`ula Overlook. You will see the unique protea blossoms (in season) and rare silver sword plants. Some of the highlights you will encounter are unique species of birds, such at the Hawaii State bird, the Nene goose, the town of Wailuku, sugar cane fields and Ka`ahumanu Church. Another feature on this tour is the scenic drive to soaring Iao Valley State Park. No host lunch stop.
