Magic of Polynesia
For many years Waikiki has been considered the "Great Broadway" of the Pacific and the show Magic of Polynesia has continued that tradition of excellence begun by many Hawaii performers of years past. Paramount among those early entertainment pioneers was the great Don Ho and his theater and show entertainment set the standard for all those to follow. John Hirokawa now has one of the leading Waikiki shows on the strip and the Magic of Polynesia is a show not to be missed. You'll certainly know what I mean the first time you see him materialize a full-sized helicopter on stage right before your eyes. John was born on Oahu in the town of Wahiawa and was mesmerized by magic at an early age. He performed before friends and family as a child and as a young adult followed his passion for magic to the mainland where he became an understudy for the great magician, David Copperfield. Rivaling the abilities of the "master" he brought his talents back to Waikiki and started the Magic of Polynesia.…
