Kualoa Ranch is one of the largest and most photographed attractions on the island of Oahu. Established in 1850, Kualoa is a four-thousand acre working cattle ranch. Located on the northeastern side of Oahu this is a spot found well into the country with steep and picturesque mountain cliffs, rolling meadowlands and views of the sparkling coastline. The ranch takes up an entire valley and is a paradise for outdoor recreation. This area is so beautiful that it has been chosen as the site and backdrop for many of the blockbuster movies you have seen on the silver screen. Once at the ranch there is much to do. You will have the opportunity to go on a horseback ride or and ATV ride and also have a chance to sign up for any one of a number of tours including a Hawaiian Fishpond and Garden Tour, Ancient Hula Lessons, a Legends and Legacy Tour, a Jungle Expedition Tour and a Movie Sites and Ranch Tour. Ocean Voyaging - Offered Monday-Saturday Learn about ancient Hawaiian navigation. The tour goes into the beautiful Kaneohe Bay aboard a very comfortable 49-passenger catamaran past the famous Mokolii Island (Chinaman's Hat) and Hokule'a Beach.
Hawaiian Fishpond and Garden Tour - explore different facets of rich history by going through fields of tropical flowers, fruit trees and gardens before venturing out on Molii Fishpond. This 800 years old, 125 acre Hawaiian fishpond, is one of the largest and most well preserved ponds left in Hawaii.
Paliku Exploration - in the ancient days, before Hawaii was 'discovered' the area Kualoa was one of the most sacred places on the island of Oahu. The dramatic mountain was name 'Paliku'. This tour, with its magnificent views of windward Oahu, Kaneohe Bay, Mokoli'i Island and the Pacific Ocean tells the history of Kualoa. Tour includes a short hike to the top of a ridge that has 360 degrees of spectacular views.
Jungle Expedition - board your 6-wheel drive Swiss Pinzgauer and rumble along jungle trails and up the lush, remote Hakupu'u Valley for fantastic ocean and mountain views. This backcountry adventure tour will maneuver through isolated streambeds, power up hills and tackle rough terrain going to secluded spots that overlook the dramatic windward coastline.
Movie Sites and Ranch - board ranch buses for a delightful one hour narrated tour across Kualoa Ranch and into gorgeous Ka'a'awa Valley to experience where many of Hollywood's biggest block buster movies and television shows were filmed. Look for the Jurassic Park site, find Godzilla's footprints, see the Windtalkers battleground and visit many more landmark locations. You may actually get to see some filming in progress, perhaps the latest smash television series Lost.*

Our one hour tour will take you over a saddle trail to visit movie sites located in our beautiful 1,000 acre Ka'a'awa Valley. Our two hour tours take you even deeper into the ranch's secret spots.

Horseback Tours Enjoy magnificent vistas as you ride across our 4,000 acre cattle ranch! See where famous movies were made, visit WWII bunkers and check out our Brangus cattle. Horseback riding in Hawaii? What could be better! One and two hour rides are available. Our one hour ride will take you across pastures and on wooded trails to a scenic overlook above an 800 year old Hawaiian fishpond. The two hour horseback tour visits gorgeous Ka'a'awa Valley where Jurassic Park, Windtalkers, You, Me & Dupree, 50 First Dates and Lost were filmed.
