- KUALOA RANCH -
4,000 acres located on the North East side of Oahu in Ka'awa offers
a wide variety of outdoor activities, educational programs and scenic
tours. Choose from all day or half day packages or select what you'd
like! Priced in packages and as individual add ons. Choices are:
- HORSEBACK OR
ATV RIDES available for 1 or 2 hours
- OCEAN VOYAGING Monday-Saturday
Learn about ancient Hawaiian navigation. The tour goes into the beautiful
Kaneohe Bay aboard a very comfortable 49 passenger catamaran past
the famous Mokolii Island (Chinaman's Hat) and Hokule'a Beach.
- HAWAIIAN FISHING & GARDEN
TOUR - explore different facets of rich history by going through
fields of tropical flowers, fruit trees and gardens before venturing
out on Molii Fishpond. This 800 years old, 125 acre Hawaiian fishpond,
is one of the largest and most well preserved ponds left in Hawaii.
- PALIKU EXPLORATION -
in the ancient days, before Hawaii was "discovered" the
area Kualoa was one of the most sacred places on the island of Oahu.
The dramatic mountain was name "Paliku". This tour, with
it's magnificent views of windward Oahu, Kaneohe Bay, Mokoli'i Island
and the Pacific ocean tells the history of Kualoa. Tour includes
a short hike to the top of a ridge that has 360 degrees of spectacular
views.
- JUNGLE EXPEDITION -
board your 6 wheel drive Swiss Pinzgauer and rumble along jungle
trails and up the lush, remote Hakupu'u Valley for fantastic ocean
and mountain views. This back country adventure tour will maneuver
through isolated stream beds, power up hills and tackle rough terrain
going to secluded spots that overlook the dramatic windward coast
line.
- RANCH & MOVIE
SITES - board ranch buses for a delightful one hour narrated
tour across Kualoa Ranch and into gorgeous Ka'a'awa Valley to experience
where many of Hollywood's biggest block buster movies and television
shows were filmed. Look for the JURASSIC PARK site, find GODZILLA'S footprints,
see the WINDTALKERS battleground and visit many more landmark
locations. You may actually get to see some filming in progress,
perhaps the latest smash television series LOST and more. Photographer's
delight! 1 hour
- Round-trip transportation
is provided from Waikiki Hotels on full and half day tours.
Kualoa Ranch is open
daily, bus pick up starts at 6:30am and returns at approx. 4:00pm. |

| HORSEBACK
TRAIL RIDES - experienced guides will take you on a 1 or 2 hour
ride across the 4,000 acre Kualoa Cattle Ranch. Enjoy stunning
views of mountain cliffs, blue ocean and verdant pastures. Visit old
war bunkers and check out the cattle. Must be at least 10 years old
4' 6'" tall and weigh no more than 230 lbs. Includes transportation. |
