Stand Up Paddling Guided Tour - Kailua Sailboards and Kayaks

Product: Stand Up Paddling Guided Tour
Description: Why lay down when you can stand-up? This hour and a half lesson takes you on a down wind course along Kailua's pristine beach. Participants will learn the basic paddling strokes and the secrets to turning and balance. Wildlife encounters are common due to the high visibility from standing on a board. Look for sea trutles and fish around the coral reef. Tour includes the use of a large stand-up board, with lots of stability, full deck pad and adjustable height paddle. After the tour, lunch is provided and the use of any beach toys including snorkel sets, boogie boards and bamboo mats for free time on the beach.

Departure Point: Hotel pick up from Waikiki, if providing own transportation 130 Kailua Road in Kailua.
Duration: 1.5 hours
Equipment: Stand-Up Board - Aquaglide 11'3" or similar, full EVA foam deck pad, surf leash, adjustable Vario Paddle, snorkel set, boogie board or beach mat and complimentary lockers
Capacity: Small groups, minimum of 2 to 4.
Inclusions: Round Trip Transportation, Lunch and Stand-Up Paddling Lesson
Menu: Deli Lunch includes Tropical Fruit Juice or Bottled Water, Chips and Fresh Fruit
1) Deli Sandwich: TURKEY, Cheddar Cheese, Sprouts, Onion and Lettuce.
2) Deli Sandwich: HAM, Cheddar Cheese, Sprouts, Onion and Lettuce.
3) Deli Sandwich: VEGETARIAN, Lettuce, Onion, Sprouts, Carrots, Cucumbers, Black Olives, Pepperoncinis and Cheddar Cheese. Plate lunches are served at K and K BBQ that offers inside or outside seating.

Description: Kailua has good beginner conditions for surfing and long boarding all year round. Exclusive use of new epoxy boards by "Southpoint" and "Boardworks". These boards are lighter and stiffer than conventional polyester fiberglass boards. Shapes range from beginner to advanced. Small groups and enthusiastic instructors make for an exciting experience.*

Description: A typical day windsurfing for a beginner starts with a lesson-taking place on a windsurfing simulator. Here the novice has a chance to learn all the moves before going out on to the water. Special training boards with easy to handle sails are provided so everyone has a chance at the sport. The instructor spends ample time with the student in the water. In the afternoon students are encouraged to practice on their own. Beach staff is always on hand if additional help is needed.*
