Surfing Lesson - Kailua Sailboards and Kayaks

Description: Kailua has good beginner conditions for surfing and long boarding all year round. Exclusive use of new epoxy boards by "Southpoint" and "Boardworks". These boards are lighter and stiffer than conventional polyester fiberglass boards. Shapes range from beginner to advanced. Small groups and enthusiastic instructors make for an exciting experience.*

Departure Point: Hotel pick up from Waikiki, if providing own transportation 130 Kailua Road in Kailua.

Description: A typical day windsurfing for a beginner starts with a lesson-taking place on a windsurfing simulator. Here the novice has a chance to learn all the moves before going out on to the water. Special training boards with easy to handle sails are provided so everyone has a chance at the sport. The instructor spends ample time with the student in the water. In the afternoon students are encouraged to practice on their own. Beach staff is always on hand if additional help is needed.*
