Kailua Sailboards and Kayaks
If you have children three years of age or older who weigh a minimum of thirty pounds they will have the opportunity to enjoy some of the ocean adventures offered by Kailua Sailboard and Kayaks. Kailua Sailboard and Kayaks is located on the east facing portion of Oahu on the beautiful Kailua Bay. Kailua Bay's shoreline consists of the softest and whitest sand to be found on Oahu and is simply a great place to play and enjoy the beach. Out beyond the bay is a set of islands called the Moku'lua islands which lie about a mile off shore. The Moku'lua's provide protection from the ocean beyond and the area between the islands and the beach is generally shallow and very calm. The clarity of the water here is also remarkable as you can see down from your kayak all the way to the bottom and view the varying colors of coral and passing fish. Children are allowed to sit in one of the "holes" of a two man kayak under the supervision of an adult and the experience of being out on the water here, aside from being a great adventure and lots of fun is also a very educational one. Boogie boarding and boogie boarding instruction can also be a part of your day and children often find this the best part of the tour. On most tours hotel pick-up and drop-off is available from your hotel in Waikiki.…
