Inter Island Sportfishing is a sport fishing company that has been active on Oahu since the nineteen fifties. Inter Island Sportfishing was one of the very first boats available for sport fishing on the island and was established so long ago by John and Ed DeRego, fishing at that time aboard the boat Stella Maris (Star of the Sea). Over the years, several boats have been retired and replaced by the current "fleet" of four boats; the one and only Maggie Joe, everybody's favorite Sea Hawk and the newest boat Ruckus are now available for charter! The most seasoned anglers or those with no previous fishing experience are welcomed on Inter Island Sport fishing. The daily morning briefing covers all the details and current fish reports to get you ready for that first bite! Offering daily private and shared fishing charters, the fleet is also available for Oahu sunsets, overnight island hopping, burial at sea, special and VIP trips for research projects, films, movies and what have you........…

Description: Maggie Joe is a 53' Sportfisher custom buiilt for fishing Hawaiian waters. She can handle up to 15 for fishing or 25 for parties on private excursions or 6 fishermen on a shared charter. She offers a fully air conditioned cabin, equipped with TV-VCR and Stereo. There is a large, comfortable, shaded flying bridge, two fully equipped heads with hot shower, complete galley with refrigerator/freezer, stove and microwave and the latests electronics inluding Global Positioning System, Fishfinder and Plotter. A Murray Bros. Fighting Chair, Penn International and Shimano Tiagra 2 Speed Reels. Full tackle including 50, 80, 130 tournament ready reels. She is available for long range trips, overnight and tournament charters. Her largest fish to date = 1277lb. Pacific Blue Marlin. *
Operates: Daily usually at 6:00am
Departure Point: Kewalo Boat Basin Slip I, J or K
Duration: 4, 6, 8-hour and overnight charters are available.
Equipment: 53' Sportfisher - custom built for Hawaiian waters fishing boat.
Capacity: Up to 15 on a private charter and 6 fishermen on a shared charter.
Inclusions: Fishing tackle, gear and license are included.
Menu: Catering is also available on request at an additional charge.
Exclusions: Bring your food and drink for the day, large coolers and ice are already on board.
