How about learning to surf at a surf spot so private that it takes a boat to get there? That's what happens with Hawaiian Surf Adventures. This is Oahu's only surf school offering surf lessons via boat. Going by boat ensures zero crowds, private lessons and safety. A barge you can stand on is anchored next to the surf location where the water lesson is given. This novel concept really makes a remarkable difference in that your surf location is there just for you and your small group and there is no interference from others using the surf break.

Group Surf Lesson - Hawaiian Surf Adventure

Description: A 30-minute land lesson is given first, and then you are taken on a 15-minute ride on a shuttle boat to the surf location where the water surf lesson is given. Students are given one hour in the water. You will have ample time to catch several waves without the danger and stress of other students and local surfers surrounding you.*
Operates: Daily 9:00am, 12:00 noon, 3:00pm
Departure Point: Transportation is available every day except Tuesday with approximate pick up times of 8:30, 11:30, 2:30 and return time of 11:30, 2:30 or 5:30pm. If driving yourself meet at Koko Marina Shopping Center
Duration: 1.5 hours
Equipment: Surfboard
Capacity: Classes are 9 people or less with a 3:1 student/instructor ratio.

Description: Get away from the crowds with your own personal instructor and give yourself the room to focus of improving your surfing abilities. Begin with a 30-minute land lesson, and then you are taken on a 15-minute ride on a shuttle boat to the surf location where the water surf lesson is given.
