The morning hours often find the dolphins resting in huge pods just off this coastline. Evenings and night-time for dolphins is a time when they go out to sea in deeper water to search for food but the morning time is a period of relaxation and convivial fun and playfulness.

Dolphins in Oahu - Lets get very clear about this one point. Dolphins are located throughout the state of Hawaii and can be seen off all the islands. These fun-loving marine animals have a permanent home here in Hawaii and are in the islands all the time. There is no doubt however, that the single best place to view them on a consistent basis is off the Waianae Coastline in the area extending north of Ko'Olina to Kaena Point.
